Hi, family! Season's greetings! I want to share what the Holy Spirit taught me some time ago while reading Matt 6:19-21, as He would have me share.
The Passage: Matt 6:19-21 KJV
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
As I got to verse 21, then He said, and I began to know:
Holy Spirit: Do you know this doesn’t just apply to men, to humans? It also applies to God.
Me: responds in my thoughts and mind while still meditating on the verse You? How?
Holy Spirit: The heart of God is with you. YOU ARE HIS TREASURE.
Then I understood Psalms 8:3-4 even more. He gave the answer to the question the Psalmist asked.
Psalms 8:3-4 TPT
“Look at the splendor of your skies, your creative genius glowing in the heavens. When I gaze at your moon and your stars, mounted like jewels in their settings, I know you are the fascinating artist who fashioned it all! But I have to ask this question: Why would you bother with puny, mortal man or care about human beings?”
MSG Verse 4
“... Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do you bother with us? Why take a second look our way?”
The answer: You are His Treasure.
The whole essence of creation, as recorded and revealed in the Bible, is about God creating Himself in You. How do you explain who a Son is to their Father?
God rules in heaven, and He gave man the earth to reign over, just as He does. And He says, “Rule like Me, for that is what I do.” He says to man, “Have the free will to make choices, because I do.”
We fell, and God left divinity to become part of humanity. The end goal was for humanity to become divinity; as I like to put it, we are 4 in 1. I have been included. Humanity is being brought into the divine life through Christ.

Here’s a part of my reflection I wrote down on 21/12/2022:
“We humans have always been part of God’s plan—not just for being created, but to be a part of Him as one. Just as the Trinity exists inseparably, God wanted us and still wants us to be part of the Trinity and inseparable:
God in Christ and Christ in God,
Christ in the Spirit and the Holy Spirit in Christ,
The Spirit in God and God in the Spirit,
Christ in man and man in Christ,
The Spirit in man and man in the Spirit,
God in man and man in God.”
Visualize this: The Spirit in man, man in Christ, and Christ in God.
1 Corinthians 3:21-23 “… Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.”
This is what God wants, and it gives Him pleasure. God is all-wise and knowing. Friend, you matter to God! His heart is after you. You are His treasure.
Summary
In summary, my explanation reflects the narrative of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. God created humanity to reflect His image and to rule on His behalf, gave humans free will, and, after the fall, entered into creation through the incarnation of Jesus. The ultimate goal is the transformation of humanity into the divine image, culminating in a restored relationship with God through Christ.
Only God can come after you this way, He loves and His actions speaks
We need help of the Holy Spirit to help us understand and live out appropriately our identity of being God’s treasure. I pray the Holy Spirit us in Jesus name.
